I’ve decided to try and switch up some things. I used to have a book blog, a personal blog and then this page on my website. Based on the advice and insights of a few of my good author friends I put together my own version of their advice and switched up the way I’m doing things a bit. Not to mention that three was just much too much for me. So I’m going to try this.
I’ve streamlined my website. There were too many drop down menus and too many pages. Some of those pages I could use as extra content. Whether it be in this blog, a newsletter or my Facebook group. (The link for which is also on my home page.) I like the look of this better. On my blog here I’m going to post about writing updates. Releases, what I’m working on, promotion for my books, extras, stuff like that. In addition I may sometimes post something more about say: recipes, DIY, stuff not so much book related.
On my blog, Girl with a Pen and a Dream, I’m going to be doing promotion for other books. I love to promote authors and I always want to help out when I can. So if you’re looking for that, head on over here to my book promotion blog. Authors, if you’re in this website and want to be featured on that blog feel free to contact me and we’ll see what we can work out. Promo, interview, guest post, etc.
I hope you all like this new set up. Like I said, I modified some advice and twisted it around a little. I want to see how this works out. If it doesn’t, I’ll just change it up again. Believe it or not, this is a little bit of an experiment for me. Hopefully some of you will be checking back to see what I’m up to. I look forward to hearing from you.
